Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong held phone talks with the newly-elected General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee Thongloun Sisoulith on January 16.
Since it was set up in 1930, the Communist Party of Vietnam convened 12 national congresses, which marked important historical milestones of the country, summarising achievements as well as lessons of Vietnamese revolution and sketching out the future development orientations for the nation.
The Party Central Committee has sent a congratulatory message to the 11th national congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP).
More than 200 documents and photos featuring the national construction and defence over the past 75 years are being displayed at an exhibition at the Hanoi-based Ho Chi Minh Museum.
